This essential EA artefact allows a Business Enterprise Architect or Business Analyst to lay out the divisions and departments of a business by domain and time dimension. This artefact is the input for business and IT strategy. It is used to mark out the hot spots in terms of new capabilities or existing issues that need architectural and/or technological fixes.
